This involves diseases of the Anorectal area that include bleeding, discharge or incontinence. The areas of proctology include anal fissures, anal fistula, rectal abscess, anal cancer, anal abscess, hemorrhoids, fecal incontinence, and pilonidal disease. We've added an additional area to our office called rectal prolapse.
When you call our office, we'll ask questions to determine your symptoms and level of acuity, inquire about prior treatment, and we will then schedule you for an appointment. At the appointment we'll review your prior testing and go into a more detailed examination, as well as focusing on the rectal area. We would then schedule any other necessary testing that needs to be done at a later date.
